Dogs at Real Weddings

Furry companions are dressing up, joining the bridal party, and mingling during cocktail hours at weddings all over the country. Check out ways you can spiff up your pooches with ideas from some of our real weddings.

A Bridesmaid Pup

Sabu wore a collar of sheer lavender ribbon down the aisle at the wedding of Tasha and Sander. The Weimaraner brought the bride and groom back together after they had gone their separate ways.

A Furry Trio

Jenn and Cody's three dogs all walked down the aisle, the first two as "flower pups" and the third as the ring bearer.

All Dolled Up

Randi and Jacob's Boston terrier, Olive, was dressed to the nines in a strand of faux pearls.

Floral Collars

For their destination wedding in Virginia, Dana and Quinn flew their dogs out from Los Angeles to share the special day with them. The furry pair wore flowers around their collars and joined the bridal party for portraits on the lawn.

Dressed to Impress

Angus attended the wedding of Andi and Carissa wearing his Sunday best.

A Furry Friend

Romney and Daron's cocker spaniel donned a floral collar for the ceremony. The pup also had the important task of assisting in the proposal -- the engagement ring was attached to his collar.

Bow-Tied Pooch

Jen and Josh put a simple black bowtie on their dog, Peanut, for the big day.

Green Garlands

Martha's French bulldog Sharkey wore a green garland made by David Stark Design to Chris and Tim's wedding.

A Custom Canine Suit

The sister of the bride's dog wore a suit made by Etsy vendor Furkid Fever at Vanessa and Mickey's wedding.

A Special Guest

Rudy wore a wreath made by Greenwich Floral Design for the wedding of her parents, Jane and Edward. During the reception, she sat next to the newlyweds' sweetheart table at their animal-friendly venue in California.

Helpful Puppy

Lucy and David's Yorkie, Chauncey, toted the couple's wedding bands on a pillow secured to his back at their Parisian affair.
