Top 5 Types of Fruit to Use In Your Wedding Décor

Using fruit in your wedding décor can be a unique (and tasty!) idea. However, it’s important to make sure you’re using the right produce. It’s important to pick the hardiest types of fruit to ensure that there won’t be any rotting or unfortunate odors during the wedding. Here are five of our favorite fruits to use in wedding décor.

Apples

Apples are strong and firm fruit, meaning they can be used throughout your wedding décor, from centerpieces to escort cards and more. And because they are available in many colors, they can work with a variety of palettes.

Citrus

Lemons, limes and orange are also quite versatile. Fill a clear centerpiece vase with whole fruit, or line a vase with slices.

Pineapple

What could be more ideal for a tropical wedding? Pineapples are certainly unique and modern, and can also be a little offbeat and edgy. We love seeing them used whole in centerpieces.

Peaches

This sweet fruit can add a lot of Southern charm to a wedding reception. Place a single peach on each place setting or a whole bunch in wooden boxes for a rustic (and budget-friendly!) centerpiece.

Plums

We love the deep purple hue of a plum! Scatter them on the escort card table, or place a single fruit on each place setting for a detail that’s both lovely and totally edible.
